I took a chicken in after being attacked by a stray dog, for repair of some large wounds. This is my second time coming here with a chicken and they are so friendly, understanding and kind. They have such compassion, not only for my pets but for me. I truly appreciate everyone I've worked with there. Beyond pleased with their care.

We appreciate the patient support at Hillside. Our pup was spayed today, and I felt supported as a dog mom because every member of the clinic was ready to answer questions and remind me as needed of procedures in a human and respectful way. Josh and Annemarie check for information on random calls. Both of the Sarahs are great at making pets feel confident and loved. Drs. Stevens and Hass are kind, and they both take time we need to listen and assure that we understand everything. What topped it all off for me was this afternoon’s pickup of our pup. We happened to have brought our other dog along because she likes car rides. I asked whether she could possibly get the vaccination I suddenly remembered having been reminded about. Josh didn’t scold me for the last-minute request. Instead, he worked some schedule magic, and in she went. It was only after the fact that I realized that this 14-year-old dog, who has hated every other vet visit at two other locations since we fostered her 18 months ago, came back from her shot perfectly relaxed, and happy to be in the office. She hadn’t ever been in a vet office without a muzzle before, because she was so opposed to the entire experience. I think she would ask to go in if we happened to be walking by. I hope these words help explain what a different place Hillside is. Anchorage would be a happier town if the caring Hillside attitude —with its believable mission to make lives better — reigned everywhere.

Needed a bunny vet next day ,,, they make it happen , just an incredible team to be able to see my bunny so quickly .

My Maggie gives it a 10. She loves Dr Gardener . She can be a bit of a nervous Nellie. But she is happy dog , when she visits Hillside Clinic.
