Edit: I've been with Chester Valley for three years and three animals now, and the quality of care has NEVER waivered. The medical care my animals have received, including the recent Euthanasia of one of my sweet dogs, is always handled with care, understanding, honesty, and compassion. I cannot recommend Chester Valley Veterinary enough. They genuinely care about the animals they treat. Original Review: Wonderful assistance from vet techs and veterinarians for both my animals! Amazing techniques and very nice attitudes. even at the end of the day!

They truly dont care about your pets. They recommend a specialist for our cat, but wouldn't give us the refferal. Our cat was sick, and needed to see the specialist, but due to Chester Valley Vet negligence, we were not able to get the care we needed. I called every day to ask for the refferal. It took weeks of this. Experience #2 they kept me and my dog in the exam room for over an hour just to get 2 prescriptions updated. They all saw how much my dog hated being there and was having a terrible time, and yet they forgot about us in the exam room. They dont care about you or your pet. College Village vet is an amazing place with awesome staff and cheaper prices. For your pets sake.

Our 9 year old , male, cat injured his front paw and, once we found it, we were unsure how long the injury had been present as he is quite stoic. Once we realized that he was in great pain and the injury had now become serious it was almost impossible to get him in anywhere...even the emergency vet. (There is a disproportionate number of veterinarians to pets in Anchorage.) Chester Valley could not get him in immediately, but did see him within a couple of days. His care was spendy, but I feel that they kept it reasonable. He is 10o% himself again thanks to the staff at Chester Valley Veterinary Hospital!

Edited to add - we no longer use them - their treatment of us when our dog passed away was horrible. No compassion, not even a sorry for your loss - only "We'll remove him from our records." The vet is fine - it's the front office staff. Our family has been bringing our pets here for over 20 years. They have always treated us and our pets with kindness and grace. Our dogs love their visits and our old dogs used to escape the yard and run away *TO* the vets. That should say it all!
