great staff, great care. only note- when comparing itemized receipts for similar services elsewhere, this vet has the highest prices i have seen anywhere.

Second time coming to this vet...brought our Labradoodle in for a check up....she is getting up in age and we are noticing sight and hearing issues. Also we noticed some buildup in her ear canals. Doctor did a swab in her ear(s) and said they would check for bacteria....assumed this would be done while we were there, but it wasn't...no big deal..... Vet recommended some basic blood tests to check some possible issues that could plague an older dog. She said there was a more detailed exam, that is $100.00 more. I declined as if there is something found in the basic test we could go from there. Unfortunately on my part, I did not ask the prices for the basic test. The vet and assistant did not show them to me either....again, I should have been more diligent. I proceeded to check out and pay for the test(s) we had done. On top of the $120.00 prepaid fee for the exam, an additional $300.00 for the tests that were done. The itemized details were a blood test and ultrasound to get urine. I think my blood tests are cheaper...but it is what it is..... I pushed back and asked to talk to the vet to ask why so much..the vet said that they should have discussed the prices with me beforehand. Which they did not...vet said that she has a new tech that is learning and it is her, the vet's, policy to discuss the costs beforehand. Two points here...if you are training a new tech, you need to make sure, he or she is doing what they are supposed to be doing and secondly, if it is your policy to make sure you are discussing these costs beforehand, make sure you are following your own policy...or maybe the policy starts tomorrow?!? In the end...basically nothing was done....the vet could have flushed out the ears.....but we will do it, no problem, the comfort of our dog is what is most important here. Not sure what was included in the $120.00 exam fee.....a little high in my opinion but I guess it is what it is. The tech mentioned that the dog was walking while doing her business...a sign of possible discomfort (arthritis) for the dog and that some additional meds might be needed. I declined as our dog has been doing this forever....marking her territory I assume. The tech did not seem pleased with my declination. I would never tell someone to not patronize a business...owning and operating a business is hard enough as it is and this clinic seems to have mostly positive reviews by their clientele. However, we will not be returning.... In today's day the American public are being nickeled and dimed to death....costs of groceries, gas etc....be diligent here...make sure you ask the prices beforehand.

We have been here multiple times over the past few years for routine shots, minor dog injuries, and saying goodbye to our beloved kitty. The staff has been so compassionate and kind with every interaction from the vet to the front desk staff.
